Magnetic Shields Ltd. production facilities are complimented with both a manual metal spinning lathe and a state of the art Leifeld SC310 fully automatic metal spinning center.

 

 

 

With the flexibility of these two machines, we are able to offer a wide range of metal spinning and spun parts in many different materials, such as; µ-Metal (Rni5), stainless steel including 316, 304 and many other grades, specialist alloys, pure iron, aluminum, copper and niobium.

 

 

The objective is to manufacture all spinning und spun parts from one source and therefore to improve the quality of service for existing and new customers. In total we are able to offer a better quality control, we are more flexible and we can reduce the delivery time.

µ-Metal and stainless steel hemisphere metal spinning for analysis equipment chambers.

 

Copper and niobium metal spinning for super conducting radio frequency (RF) resonator cavities.

With the fully integrated manufacturing, tooling and hydrogen heat treatment facilities MSL is able to produce a various range of components and assemblies in many different shapes and sizes.
